Directions:
Using Maps will guide you there smoothly. After driving through Fredericksburg on Main Street, stay left to merge onto US-290. Continue on US-290 for about 13 miles, then turn right onto Reeh-Weinheimer Rd. and follow it for about 6 miles. After that, turn right again onto Adobe Creek Rd. Continue straight until you reach your destination.
You’ll pass through three gates on your way to Adobe House. The first gate requires code access; the code is 1234. The second gate has a silver box mounted to the left with a push button, and the third gate also has a push button, but the box is located to the right. When you see a large single iron gate on the left, you’ve arrived! Push the button on the stand to your left to enter. Follow the metal stars, and they’ll lead you right to the house!
Note: As a backup for the first gate, in case code 1234 doesn’t work, a remote opener has been left in the mailbox numbered 1375 for guests to use. Please remember to return the remote when you check out.
Please note: The speed limit after entering the first gate is 20 mph.
Door Code
Your door code is unique to your stay. It will be sent to you within 24 hours of your arrival and will expire at your reservation’s checkout date and time. The code will grant access through the side door from the driveway for the duration of your stay.
Check in/ out times
Check-in is at 4 PM, and check-out is at 10 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is only available if arranged in advance.
Accessibility and Parking
The gate is electric, and you can enter the parking area by pressing the button. There are three parking areas, offering plenty of space for all your vehicles. To access the main house, please use the side door on the right, located between the cabin and the main house. For the guest house, the entrance is on the left side of the large red garage.

Upon arrival, please take a few moments to look around the property and double check that everything is working properly, nothing is broken, or needs attention. If anything seems out of place, broken, etc… Please notify us immediately so we can document it or send maintenance.
Contact
The preferred method of contact is through your booking platform’s app (Airbnb or VRBO). We’re usually very responsive and will get back to you promptly. For urgent matters or if you booked directly, please call or text our office at Lazy H Retreats: 830-308-7202.
General & Supplies
We provide all the essentials, including linens, towels, blankets, pillows, an ironing board, and a blow dryer. We do our best to keep the unit stocked with hand soap, body wash, and conditioner.
To get you started, we also supply a limited amount of:
Keurig coffee pods & coffee grounds, Laundry pods, Dishwasher pods, Toilet paper, Paper towels and Trash bags
Items we can’t guarantee but you might want to bring:
Ziplock bags, Foil, Cooking oil and Seasonings
These items often get accidentally packed away by guests, so while we try to keep them in stock, we can’t guarantee availability.
TVs
There are three Samsung smart TVs available. Please bring your own passwords if you want to stream any content.

Kitchen
The main house is equipped with a Keurig, while the barn house has a standard coffee pot. We also strive to keep the kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook and entertain your family or group, including pots, pans, cookware, utensils, wine glasses, a crock pot, blender, and tupperware. Please remember to use plastic cups when outside by the pool.
Basic Housekeeping
If you need to do some minor cleaning during your stay- we try to keep some of the basic supplies under the sink, and in the laundry closet.
Trash
A trash bin is located at the back of the cabin on the left. Please place all your trash inside and secure the lid to keep wildlife out.
In accordance with city regulations, please do not place trash bins on the street. Our contractor will handle disposal to ensure compliance. Thank you for your cooperation!
Pool
The pool and hot tub are for guests’ private use only. Please note that the pool is cleaned on Wednesday afternoons. If you see someone around the pool or hot tub area, there’s no need to be alarmed—they will not need to enter the house.
The pool and hot tub are managed through an app by Lazy H Retreats. Any tampering with the pool control panels will incur a $250 fine to cover the costs of system repairs.
If the temperature drops below 35 degrees, the pool and hot tub will automatically shut off, and the system will enter freeze mode to protect the equipment.
The Aviary/Bird House
There is a wonderful aviary along one of the walking trails behind the house for guests to enjoy. If you use it, please remember to turn off the AC before you leave.

Check out is 10 am unless otherwise discussed and arranged in advance. Keep in mind your door code is set to expire shortly after checkout time and the cleaning crew works in a tight window so we ask that you be mindful of the checkout time and communicate with us should there be any hindrance to making it out on time.
- Please load and start the dishwasher- Please hand wash any dishes that were not able to fit in the dishwasher, as well as knife set knives, wine glasses, etc.
- Please set all dirty towels, wash cloths, etc on the bathroom floors or in laundry baskets provided
- We will strip the beds so no need to worry about those
- Take all trash out to the bin on the side of the Cabin
- Take any and all food items that you brought and didn’t use
- Log out of any personal accounts you may have logged in to on the smart TV
- Please set temp to 74 in summer/ 68 in winter
- Double check one last time for any of your personal items!!!
- Turn off all lights and lock all doors
- Please leave us a 5-star review ! Air BNB, VRBO and all booking platforms view anything under 5 stars as bad and it hurts us in the rankings.
