Our Story

Lazy H Retreats was initially founded in 2020 as the management division of a portfolio of vacation rentals that were owned and operated by the founders, Scriven and Marilyn Hoefs, along with a few investment partners. In 2021, we were wrapping up our second year of operation, which at that time consisted of 7 owned properties in 4 markets and we decided to share our hard-earned skill set with fellow vacation rental owners! We began taking on clients based on gaps we identified in the market-place. Lazy H Retreats is founded upon the concept of a boutique, hands on property manager feel while staying at the forefront of available technology to maximize visibility and occupancy.
